ATC Swap - Spring

I have participated in several ATC group swaps over the last few years.  This one had a theme of spring with a kicker.  There were requirements to colors and techniques and tools that I had to use.  Colors were any shades of Blue, Orange, or Red (black and white optional),  the technique was a Resist, and the tools were a punch, ScorPal, heat gun, and sewing machine.  I think all are obvious except the Scorpal which I used to score the sewing machine cut, which my cutter did not like and I had to score and handcut.  I really like how they turned out.   I submit 14 of these to the hostess who will divide them up and I will get one of mine and 13 different ATCs back.  This is a great group of ladies who are so creative.  Enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving 2014

Here are a few holiday cards I am sending to wish friends a Happy Thanksgiving.  Made with ATCs that I received in a swap. Makes it so simple to put a nice card together.  I don't save ATCs, I use them on my projects.

ATC Cards - Swap on Cricut MB

Jean P hosts a swap every few months on the Cricut message board.  This quarter the theme is Autumn, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.  Other requirements were that the background had to be stenciled and we had to use a stamp somewhere on the ATC.   I usually include a Cricut cut, this is the first time I didn't.   I decided to work outside the box and go with a football theme.  To me, fall is the start of football, and we are long time 49ers fans.  Here are the ATCs, I plan on making cards with a lot of them.

 



ATC Swap - made into V-day cards

I participated in an ATC (artist trading card) swap on the Cricut Message Board.  They came back this week, and were so pretty I just had to use them.  One person puts them in an ATC sized tray that displays 12 cards.  I decided to make some easy Valentines Day cards with 3 of them.   I added another contrasting mat frame, and then made them into A2 sized cards, adorning the bottom with Red/white ribbons.  I inked them and added scraps inside for some color.   Ready to send out tomorrow - Happy Valentine's Day.
