St. Patrick's Day Wishes 2015

I make St. Patrick's Day cards every year for my Irish friends.   My mom's side of the family was Irish, her maiden name was McKenna.  She loved her Irish Coffee on St. Patrick's Day, and there is no better place to get one than at the Buena Vista in San Francisco.  It's an icon that has been there since 1952.  I have my ingredients ready to go along with my corned beef and cabbage for the 17th.

Here are a few of the cards I made with the SHAMROCK from the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge.  That's our challenge for the week - a shamrock!   Post your St. Patrick's Day cards on the BBTB2 blog. Directions on the blog.

May neighbors respect you, trouble neglect you, the angels protect you, and Heaven accept you. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Nap Time for Sam

I am starting off great capturing all the baby pictures and getting them scrapped of my little grandson, Samuel.  I know that won't last long.  Today is another set of newborn pictures using a few different cartridges - Nifty Fifties for the clock, Paper Doll Dress Up for the moon and baby.   I cut the later two twice so I could incorporate another layer as these 'accessories' only have one layer.  I did some inking with my Stampin Up Blendabilities (see right side of blog for Stampin Up) on the baby.  The middle words are just stickers I had in my 'baby' box.

Diana, from DLART is our hostess this week and selected a 'clock' for our challenge.   Join up by linking your card or project up to BBTB2, which would include a Cricut cut of a clock.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY LAYOUT

Here is a 2 page layout I just completed for St. Patrick's Day. LUCKY is from Indie Art and the rest of the cuts are from PDDU. I had fun creating this, as I wanted to document my holiday displays, not just trips and people.

Indian Summer 12x12 Layout for a Cricut Swap

This was the first swap I did on the Cricut Messageboard. I had a theme of Fall, so I created 6 sets of this one page layout. I spend quite a bit of time designing it, and then putting it all together. I like how it turned out. I got back some very nice Xmas, winter, and Halloween layouts in the swap....
