This week at Bitten By the Bug2 we are making projects with butterflies or bees. I had a vision of making a layout using a picture of my granddaughter with wings. This is how it turned out, simple and very different from what I usually do. I printed her flower girl picture at 5x7 and then fussy cut her out and put it on the layout. I think I might add some glitter and bling - not sure yet.
Join us and our hostess Michelle, from http://cricutcrazyscrapper.blogspot.com/, to link up your bee or butterfly creations - we would love to see them! Cricut cuts are: "Flower Girl" uses the Ashlyn's Alphabet, the large butterfly is from Home For the Holidays - Spring and Summer, and the swarm of butterflies is from Boho Graphics, Iron On. I sliced up the Skunk with Flowers cut from Disney Classics, removing the skunk for the surrounding flowers at her feet. I cut the butterfly 3 times, once for the white top, once as a stencil for coloring with Stampin' Up pens, and once in a solid light yellow (using the contour feature) for the background. I could see this layout in 3D and would have done so if it wasn't going into a scrapbook.

This is such a pretty photo of your grand daughter and I love how you designed your layout. The flowers are so pretty and so are the wings for your grand daughter... Pretty background paper, too.
