I've seen this quote on social media several times and really thought it funny enough to make for my husband for Father's Day. The hardest part was picking out the appropriate fonts. It took about 15 minutes to make once I had the items in place. My husband has always gone by Papa and the grandkids call him Nonno (he's Italian). I know he will get a kick out of it.

BBTB2: Cricut - The Tassle is Worth The Hassle
This card is for our second cousin, he is graduating high school. I loved this title that I found in Design Space, it's probably pretty true about now. It was a simple card to design and make. The red (school colors) and title were print and cut (flattened). The graduate I cut, and the background in black I cut as well. I used bakers twine to finish it off.

Cricut: Baby Bib for Kinsley
I'd never heard the name Kinsley, and now I have a grand-niece and a friend who have both named their daughters Kinsley.
I was babysitting little Kinsley this week and she was drooling a lot. When she took her nap, I whipped up a little bib for her. Some leftover iron-on vinyl and a few cut images quickly transformed this plain bib in a custom piece. I got the bibs off of Amazon for something like 10 bibs for $9. They are meant for a smaller baby but are still a good size.

BBTB2: Cricut - He's in A Rock Band
My nephew's birthday is coming up, and he has a degree from Berkeley in Music. He also leads the music for his church, playing guitar and singing. He's so talented. I came up with this quick card for him. It uses only two cartridges from Design Space - Musician Silhouettes, and Band Parents. I made it a print and cut since it is too detailed to cut out of paper.

BBTB2: Cricut - Mother's Day Step Fold Card
Can you believe I have never made a step-fold card. I easily found the instructions on Pinterest, and had the card cut and scored in just a few minutes. I had come up with the images I wanted to use before I envisioned them on a step-fold. I really like how it turned out. This card is for my daughter, who has 3 children, and sometimes amazes me with her ability to hold it together.
I made this for the Mother's Day Challenge at Bitten by the Bug2, which starts today and runs for two weeks. Join in the fun and link up your project and see the artistry of our Designers.
I used Cricut images for the saying, children, slide, and teeter-totter. The swing-set is hand cut from paper. I inked many of the pieces as well. It was an easy, fun to assemble card.
Images:
Mom saying: Strong as a Mother
Children: A Child's Year
Teeter Totter, Slide: Playground Equipment (hadn't seen this cart before today)
Folded Card and Swing Set: Hand cut

BBTB2: Cricut - Chinese New Year Envelopes
Chinese New Year was in February, I saved the pictures of the red envelopes I made for this week's Bitten By the Bug2 post, which is "Boxes". These were really easy to make. One cut makes the envelope, one glue strip, and a few folds makes it into a pillow box. I took the Pig image from Cricut Access and put a yellow box around it, printed it, cut it out and then glued it to the box. Instead of money, I put in treats. I also made these for a scrapbooking crop I went to the weekend before Chinese NY as a little memento of the day.
Join our challenge at Bitten by the Bug2, which runs for two weeks by linking your card or project containing a box. Have a great day!

BBTB2: Cricut - Easter's On It's Way
The Easter Bunny is on his way and he has flowers and a basket filled with candy. Thanks to new images from Miss Kate Cuttables in Cricut Design Space, this was an easy layout to design and assemble. I love the cute images that Kate designs and have purchases several of them. Today's layout features three print-n-cut images. In the Easter basket, I put two of Kate's images together, just had to add the Peeps - my favorite. Now to find the perfect photo!

BBTB2: Cricut - Just a Wee Bit Irish
I ran across this cute saying in Cricut Access and thought it would look great on a shirt for one of the grandkids. Just so happened I had a white t-shirt in the little guy's size. It was a really easy project, as I had the vinyl as well. I used the image set as displayed but added a few gold shamrocks for more bling. I had it cut and ironed on in about 45 minutes. I don't have a heat press, and don't really want one, but it would help avoid me from making boo-boos on my shirts. One of the letters actually melted a bit, guess I was just a little too heavy handed. My grandson won't care.
Our challenge theme this week at Bitten by the Bug2 is to make a card or project using a St. Patrick's Day theme or something green. Our Designers have created some spectacular projects to show off, and you can join in the challenge fun right HERE by linking up your projects. Happy St. Patrick's Day.

BBTB2: Cricut - Valentine Hearts for our Little Granddaughter
I spent more time than I wanted on this double page layout. Haven't done a double in a long time, but didn't want to leave anyone out on these pictures from 6 years ago. I'm cleaning my office, which is where I do a lot of crafting and finding all kinds of pictures to scrap.
Lots of layering and image cuts. I inked the chain of border hearts, arrow, and swirls. The Kisses and Simply Loved cuts are from Cricut Access and were print and cut. The sideways hearts tag will be for journaling. The paper is from a cheap pack at the Dollar Spot at Target years ago. I double matted the pictures, the black really made them pop.
Join our Bitten by the Bug challenge for the next few weeks. Our theme is Hearts. Use Instagram, Facebook, or your blog to link your artwork. Here is the link.

Cricut - Love our Bulldog Shirts for Kids
I have a friend who just had her 3rd child - the ages are newborn, 1 1/2, and 3 1/2. She has her hands full right now. Plus they have two 85 pound bulldogs in the house. My mom did it with three kids in 4 years. I would go crazy. Anyways - I made shirts for all three kids. It was hard to think of a common theme with one boy and 2 girls..... so I let it go to the dogs. Here is the shirts: The lettering is Cricut Access - Cricut Outline Font. The bulldog I pulled off the internet and made it an SVG in Design Space. The mom used the saying 'party of 5' a few times on FaceBook so I put that saying really small on the sleeves. I think they turned out fun for a quick project (ok not so quick, but easy enough for making 3 of something).
